Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician (Prior Auth
Review) to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Review prior authorization requests for medications and determine
medical necessity
Accurately enter online approvals or denials of requests and assist
in resolving prescription claim issues
Participate in the development of programs to enhance drug
utilization and identify cost-saving practices
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Certification
Preferred: Associate degree
Preferred: 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
