Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Coder, working outside the city
in Revenue Integrity/Coding, fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and code diagnostic and procedural information
using ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
Ensure accurate coding by applying regulatory guidelines and
querying physicians for necessary information
Evaluate medical records for documentation consistency and assist
with employee training and auditing
Required Qualifications
One year of coding experience
One of the following certifications: CCA, CCS, CIC-ICD, COC, CPC,
RHIA, or RHIT
Three years of acute care hospital inpatient coding (desired)
Associate Degree (desired)
Relevant coding certification (desired)
