Job Description:
A company is looking for an Appeals Clerk to provide
administrative support for the Eligibility Appeals Operations
Support (EAOS) Project.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze appeals data and ensure compliance with federal and state
laws and regulations
Issue informal resolutions based on appeal case reviews and contact
appellants for clarification
Schedule hearings for appellants and manage related administrative
tasks
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree
preferred
At least two (2) years of related experience required, preferably
in healthcare or appeals
Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, or
Access
Ability to type 35 words per minute accurately
Must reside in the Continental US and meet home office
requirements
