Job Description:
A company is looking for an MHPSS Officer to support the mental
health of healthcare workers and first responders in the aftermath
of Hurricane Helene.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Psychological First Aid and facilitate debriefing sessions
for affected individuals
Conduct psychoeducation sessions to promote stress management and
resilience
Collaborate with local organizations to strengthen MHPSS services
and coordinate referrals
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a
related field with relevant licensure
Minimum of 3 years' experience in MHPSS programming, particularly
in disaster settings
Proven experience in conducting training and providing
psychological assistance
Ability to work independently and in high-stress environments
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and cultural
competency
