Job Description:
A company is looking for a PEO Licensing & Compliance Specialist
or Counsel to manage and maintain PEO licenses and ensure
compliance with U.S. state laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain PEO licenses across U.S. states, ensuring
timely renewals and accurate filings
Stay updated on state-specific laws and regulations impacting PEO
operations and implement necessary changes
Coordinate responses to state regulatory audits or investigations
and maintain detailed compliance records
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in PEO compliance, legal, or regulatory
affairs
Deep understanding of U.S. PEO licensing and regulatory
requirements across multiple states
Strong familiarity with state labor laws, workers' compensation,
and unemployment insurance
Experience working with state regulatory agencies
Experience managing large volumes of data and regulatory
filings
