Job Description:
A company is looking for a Fiber Engineer Associate to design
fiber paths and manage network inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Design routes for fiber-based services including Point to Point,
Ring, and path diverse routing
Research existing databases for network design and fiber
optimization
Maintain accurate fiber optic database and inventory management
systems
Required Qualifications:
Four Year College Degree in Engineering or equivalent Telecom
Network Experience
Proficiency in MS Office tools, including MS Visio; knowledge of
Salesforce.com and GIS platforms is a plus
Basic knowledge of Fiber Network Design preferred
Work experience within the Telecom Industry preferred
Demonstrated ability to utilize database management software
systems
