A company is looking for a Director, Data and Science (Analytic Solutions - Epidemiology and Biostatistics Study Design).



Key Responsibilities

Drive the development of robust epidemiological and biostatistical study designs for critical commercial retrospective clinical studies
Lead and mentor a team of 5 individual contributors, ensuring high-quality output in study design and analysis
Engage with life science customers to align project objectives with data and analytic capabilities


Required Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a closely related field
7+ years of experience in epidemiological and biostatistical study design within life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sectors
3+ years of experience managing research study teams, demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring skills
Comprehensive understanding of advanced epidemiological and biostatistical principles and their application in healthcare research
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, or STATA) and familiarity with SQL and Python
