Job Description:

A company is looking for a Mid-Level Emergency Management Planner.



Key Responsibilities

Facilitate the development of emergency management plans using the FEMA Six-Step Planning Process
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment in emergency preparedness strategies
Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate potential impacts of disasters


Required Qualifications

Emergency management experience, including knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS)
Recognized training, experience, and/or education in business, civilian government, or military emergency management operations or planning
Minimum of four (4) years of emergency management planning experience
A documented work history demonstrating success at increasing levels of responsibility in disaster response and recovery planning
A sound understanding of emergency management response programs and FEMA's role in coordinating federal responses
