Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager - Short-term Disability and
Absence Claims.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of case managers adjudicating short-term disability
and absence management claims
Analyze reporting for trends and implement improvement plans based
on team performance
Oversee staff hiring, performance management, and development to
meet departmental goals
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma required; college degree or equivalent
experience preferred
3-5 years of experience in short-term disability and absence
management claims
2+ years of management experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Completion of a leadership development program within the first
year is required
