Job Description:

Linton-Delray Beach Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Clinical Director to oversee and develop the ambulatory surgical center's clinical departments.

The Clinical Director is responsible for hiring, evaluating, mentoring, scheduling, and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will have proven strategies for continued growth, excellent critical thinking skills, and emotional intelligence to deal with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• 
  
• Implement staff development programs and quality assurance monitoring
  
• Work with other members of the management team and communicate effectively
  
• Develop and plan strategies to manage program growth and ensure business sustainability
  
• Manage budgets for service programs
  
  
  The Clinical Director will be responsible for generating revenues for clinical services, client billings, and knowledge and adherence to regulations such as Joint Commission, CMS standards of care, fiscal budgets, and performance improvement.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Graduate of a professional school of Nursing
    
  • Current license as a FL Registered Nurse
    
  • Current certification in BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
    
  • At least five years operating room/critical care experience
    
  • At least two years supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area
    
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
    
  • Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others
    
    
    The Clinical Director will be required to attend all mandatory in-services and meetings, and will be expected to act in accordance with the vision, mission, and business of the Center.
